Back to the Future Flux Capacitor T Shirt

by on August 31, 2010

Can you believe Back to the Future is 25 years old? Yeah, me too. Feels like I watched that thing in the theater back in the 1920s. Can’t believe those actors are still alive, Michael J. Fox’s heroic fight against Parkinsons not withstanding. Hell, Crispin Glover looks exactly the same.

Anyways, if you’re reading this you probably weren’t even alive when this movie came out, and I can’t really understand that, so I need to learn to empathize with the youth of today and try to understand memorializing films older than you with funny tshirts. I guess I do it with bands that were gone before I was alive: Count Basie Orchestra, and whoever played Mozart’s music while he was still alive. Just kidding I’m not that old. How about Jimi Hendrix and Cream. I would probably wear a t-shirt celebrating their artistic endeavors.

What about film? Charlie Chaplin films. Grace Kelly. Duck Soup. Dial “M” for Murder. Joking again. Actually, it boils down to would I wear a The Sound of Music shirt, and the answer is a resounding “yes,” because in fact I’m wearing one right now. All of the Von Trapps spinning around in their little performances.

So, yes, you should definitely buy the Flux Capacitor t shirt and remember the good times before you and everybody you know got old and boring.

Nerdy Shirts maintains its perch on the bleeding edge of pop culture with this retro gem that everybody will like and love and really dig a lot.
