Actual Size T Shirt

by on February 13, 2011

This is a spectacularly random shirt. The actual size stamp on the shirt is huge and I guess it is referring to the wearer of the shirt. I think that’s what Snorg Tees is getting at. Next, there’s the issue with the footnote that is called out by the asterisk. It says footnote serves no purpose, which is pretty damn random and funny. I think what you have with this Actual Size Footnote Serves No Purpose T Shirt is a very sophisticated dig at modern marketing, especially the packaging, or in advertisements for children’s toys and fishing lures.

There’s always an actual size sticker on there’s always a footnote about something: only for ages 8 and up, or this lure is not guaranteed to ever even get you a nibble on your line. Or stuff like that. The shirt sort of just points out that a shirt is sort of your packaging, so why not go absurd and treat it like other product packaging. I don’t know what the hell I’m talking about. This tee just looks pretty good because when do you ever see such a large burst screen printed on fabric? Basically never.
