Shop Review: Deez Teez Aims to Please

deez teez logo 300x137 Shop Review: Deez Teez Aims to PleaseDeez Teez is sneaking up on me. They have been on my radar for quite a while. I’ve reviewed some of their shirts for my Tshirt of the Day blog, but I don’t think I’ve really given them the attention they deserve.

Looking at their funny shirt offerings, Deez Tees holds up to scrutiny. (Warning: I’m going to get all the possible spellings of this site in here, because I’m pretty sure people search for all of the variations and I want to be there for them when they do. Misspellers need honest site reviews just as much as the spelling bee champs. Basically, I’m the Mother Teresa of funny t shirt blogs.)

Dees Teez is every bit as good as Snorg Tees and Busted Tees. They may skew a little more to the dirty side, which may be right up your alley, you filthy, nasty, degenerate. Wait, that was a little harsh, because we’re not talking outright offensive like a lot of the Tshirt Hell catalog, so maybe you’re a pretty moderate person. Who knows?

And, I don’t judge, so go ahead and just be you. Okay? Don’t let me box you in or force you to go in some other, not natural direction. Meet YOUR destiny. Follow YOUR path.

But, back to Dees Tees. Rock solid collection of funny shirts, including some innovative stuff, like the zombie shirt that says Ask Me About My Zombie Shirt on the front, then you pull it over your head and there’s a zombie face showing over your real not zombie face (I’m assuming you’re not a zombie). That’s creative. I like that. They’re pushing the t shirt technology and the innovation forward, which is good for everyone, and is something positive to support with your hard-earned trust fund dollars.

Like Busted Tees and Snorg Tees, it looks like Deez Teez is selling new shirts at a discount for the first week they are available. On sale for $11.99, regularly $14.99. They also offer a buy three shirts and get one free deal, which is nice if you’re gift shopping or doing a nice upgrade of your t shirt drawer.

One draw back is that the men’s shirts are printed on Gildan and Hanes Beefy Ts stock, which isn’t the best, but they do use the higher quality stock from those wholesalers. The women’s shirts are printed on American Apparel, which is the best, and, being a man, I’m jealous. Of course, American Apparel is a fitted t shirt, so maybe Deez Teez is thinking that the women like the fitted style, whereas a majority of men like a looser thicker tee. They may be right, but it’s a good thing to be aware of as you’re shopping.

And, let’s not forget the Deez Teez hails from San Leandro, California, which is a humorous graphic tee mecca. I just made that up. San Leandro looks like it is across the Bay from San Francisco and just south of Oakland, so you have a bit of the bay vibe, which is cool. Again, I’m making this up and don’t know what I’m talking about. I’m just trying to hit a reasonable word count. Tell you what, the San Leandro web page…isn’t it funny that now every city in the U.S. has its own web page. No, it’s not funny. Well, I bet you couldn’t have imagined that in 1985.

Anyway, “the Saleadro” (that’s what the locals call it) web page says the new mayor is going to have coffee with people, and some downtown parking has changed, which obviously is code for our town is a god damn hot bed for funny t shirt shop incubation, which is why you need to give Deez Teez a very close look, when you have made the big decision to be in the market for funny t shirts.

Here are the last few Deez Teez that made T Shirt of the Day fame here at Tshirt Groove:

Same. They’ve taken 120 dollars of mine. It’s been almost 2 months, no shirts, no refund, nothing. I’ve filed a BBB report as well.
