I don’t mind telling you I have no idea what this means. Apparently, you need to catch these creatures and the humor comes in because you have beheaded and mounted this creature on your wall, when really it’s probably all about getting the right Pokeman cards. In essence, this shirt is funny because it takes an innocent pastime for youth and sprinkles a dusting of violence on it. Awesome. And because of the quality of this humorific maneuver, you need to get the Pokeman Caught ‘Em All T Shirt.
Okay, I decided to do 15 seconds of Internet research to make sure that last paragraph made any sense. Otherwise, I’m liable to get hordes of 9 year olds angrily commenting that I don’t know shit about Pokeman, this shirt, and comedy in general. Unfortunately, they’d be right, but that doesn’t mean I can just skip the research phase of my blogging endeavors. Hold on one second.
I just landed on the Pokeman official website and it took me 12 seconds to figure out that I will never know what the hell is going on. There is a link to join Pokeman leagues in your area. So, I’m guessing this game is for older kids and that the Pokeman cards have value and that you bring your deck to the league night and try to beat the shit out of other Pokemanners and take their cards.
Am I right? Busted Tees is giving me no support on this shirt. I have to figure it out on my own. Maybe a kindly reader can give me the low down.
