Party Like It’s 1923 DJ with Gramophone T Shirt

by on October 1, 2011

Dude is dropping mad beats on the raving crowd. Place is hopping. The energy is intense. Everybody’s getting laid tonight, especially when Clarence MacDougal is spinning the wax. It was harder to get the deep bass to pummel the core of being, but the freshness of the grooves made this minor missing bass a footnote in an otherwise epic night out. You were lucky to catch one of these all nighters, because rooms sold out fast.

Plus, MacDougal had a tragically short career after succumbing to a unfortunate opiate binge.

Ah, the art of turntablism’s been around a long time and will never die. Amen. Get the Party Like It’s 1923 Gramophones T Shirt.

Great design by Adam De La Mare, sold on Red Bubble.

God damn, Booker, it sounds like you really know how to kick that sh*t. I remember gettin down at a rave in the woods and taking ecstasy and my BF ripped off all my clothes and we partied all night long. You take me back. It’s almost like I still have the smell of him on my lips, and I don’t wanna wash my face. Thanks for the memories. Any despondency I might have been feeling is gone like my mind was and my clothes were that night we grooved to the fat beats near the ravine. This t-shirt is mine, daddy-o.

@Euphoria – not shy with the details are you? But, that’s what makes a memorable comment…and a memory worth holding on to so it seems. Thanks for visiting the site and picking up the shirt. Mr. De La Mare is a great designer.

Got the shipping confirmation email just now. Looking forward to donning this…for a minute, until I re-live that night in the woods back in the roarin’ 90s. i wonder what that dude’s up to these days. i should find him on FB. JK.
