Editor’s Note: The original Snorg Tees Girl, Alice Fraasa, was kind enough to do an email interview with Tshirt Groove. Enjoy.

What do you do for fun?

Over the past few months my boyfriend and I have been going through The Sopranos, we’re about to start the last season. I also love reading, hanging out with my family and friends as much as possible, and cooking.

Best movie you saw recently?

The Avengers, I loved it. TEAM HULK!

Band you must absolutely see in person?

Radiohead was one of my big must sees and I finally got to see them recently…I would really love to see Prince and am dying to see Van Morrison again.

Where are you from originally?

I was born in Fort Lauderdale, FL but I’ve lived in Atlanta since I was 2.

Brothers? Sisters?

I’m the middle child. I have a big brother, Rad, he’s in the peace corps. I also have a little sister, Anna, she’s got blond hair and blue eyes, the opposite of me and she’s absolutely adorable.

Where do you live now?

I currently live in Auburn, AL.

You graduated from Auburn? When? Major?

August of 2010, I majored in Communication and have no clue what I’m going to do with that degree but I loved it.

What are you doing these days?

I’m working for the Civil Engineering Department at Auburn and I like it a lot. I also work for Astro Gaming, a company that makes professional gaming equipment, and travel with them a bit. I’ve worked for them since 2008 and I love them so much. They’re a really, really great company.

Any modeling? What? Where?

Not any recently. I’ve been asked to do a few things but I’m really careful with who I work with and if it’s the least bit sketchy I’m not doing it.

When is the last time you modeled shirts for Snorg Tees?

Last July…it was really fun, they were shooting for their calendar.

How old were you when you started modeling with them?

16

How did you get that gig?

The Wall brothers lived down the street from us growing up and my brother was really good friends with Bryan (the younger of the two). They started Snorg Tees out of their parents basement and needed a girl to model some shirts…my name came up at some point, they might have just been messing with my brother, but it kind of went from there.

Do you still get noticed as the Snorg Tees girl?

I do, not as much as I used to but it still happens pretty regularly…it always begins with “this might sound really creepy but….”

Do you take credit for building the Snorg Tees brand into what it is today?

Ha, I wish a few funny pictures could take credit for all of their success but no, Matt and Bryan worked really hard to get to where they are. I did one time read about how Snorg Tees started the trend of having the candid, goofy, cute, girl-next-door models, and I think it’s okay for me to take a little credit for that.

Favorite shirt?

I’ve always loved the rock, paper, scissors shirt. Also any that are Harry Potter themed.

Do you have a significant other (my readers told me to ask that…no they didn’t, but I thought they would be interested)?

Ha I do, we’ve been together for the past three years, we have two cats together so you could say it’s pretty serious…he’s Swiss so I’m really just using him so my kids can be Swiss citizens one day…I JOKE, but seriously…

This is an email interview so I have no idea how you answered the last question, but how interested, on a scale from 1 (not very) to 10 (very) would you be in a 41-year-old MAN with greasy hair and a mustache, who lives in his mother’s basement, and has a very powerful love of pork rinds? I’m talking romantically of course.

I do like mustaches…

Do you ever Google yourself and bask in the glory or is it weird/creepy?

I stopped googling myself a long time ago, people say the meanest things when they can hide behind their computer and it just isn’t worth it to me to see that kind of stuff. Of course there is some good stuff too but either way I decided to stop looking.

What’s with the name disparity? Is Fraasa your nom de foto (I made that word up. It’s like pen name except for modeling and in French. Get it? And if you do, and you think it’s genius, does that change anything about your answer to the inquiry two questions up? Is Kipling your real last name?

I would not choose Fraasa as a pen name, people have lots of trouble with it, probably all the a’s…Fraasa is my real last name. Kipling is my middle name but I just love it so I use it a lot, plus it’s a little more difficult for people to find me if I use Kipling…although I guess now my spot’s blown.

Any links/shout outs you want to throw out there to the masses?

If you’re an Auburn fan check out  http://thewareaglereader.com. It’s a great blog/online newspaper run by a friend of mine. You might even find a few articles about me on there.

Last words?

I always laugh at the people who say why are you working a regular job, aren’t you the Snorg Tees girl? What exactly should I be doing? If you have a good idea I’d be happy to hear it, haha.

Alice Fraasa Dossier

bigdeal f fullpic 21 Meet Snorg Tees Model Alice Fraasa...the Legend.Alice Fraasa seems to be from Atlanta, GA, and according to my 9 seconds of Internet research, it looks like  she graduated from Auburn University last summer. Actually, 12 more seconds of research, pulled up this great  article in the school newspaper about her graduation.

I don’t think Alice Fraasa even models for Snorg Tees any more, but it seems like maybe she was the most famous  funny t shirt model on the Internet ever. She was the face of Snorg Tees just as they were blowing up and Snorg Tees was blowing up just as funny t shirts were becoming the rage in popular culture. Everybody wants to capture those funny entertainment moments forever and share them with friends, and there’s no better way to do that than a funny tee.

But, back to Ms. Fraasa. The web geeks loved her beautiful face, bright smile, tan skin, and the ever so slight bit of crazy emanating from her eyes. It doesn’t hurt that she looks nice and healthy and curvy, rather than some coat hanger, frizzed hair, coked out, waif girl.

At this point, this may even be a retrospective of Alice’s Snorg Tees modeling work, but it is definitely worth  archiving for future generations. She looks great in a t-shirt and she was there at the right time in the right place. Tshirt Groove has done a few of these meet the model posts, and we’d be remiss if we didn’t include Alice.

You might be able to hit her up as a friend on Facebook, but probably not likely. She seems to be Alice Kipling on Twitter. Maybe she’s a big fan of Rudyard.

Here’s a nice interview with Alice, including the following question:

Q. How do you get paid? Was it a one-time fee, or do you get more based on impressions? Do you have any idea of the total number of impressions you’ve been a part of?

A. Honestly, I don’t know much about any of that. I model for them because it’s fun and because I get as many T-shirts as I want. I am definitely not a professional model, not even close; I honestly don’t even think I’m very photogenic.

Here’s a selection of Snorg Tees that Alice modeled.

This is grainy and jerky, but Alice introduces you to Auburn and her room, complete with Johnny Depp, Dave Matthews, and Bob Marley posters, she reads Harry Potter by the pool, and finally doing some white girl dancing in an SUV.

Sad night, Alice’s favorite bar, Bodega, closing:

Here she is getting a lesson in booty dancing:
