Often I think that specialization has run amok. Phd’s for studying fowl>chickens>bantam>feces, instead of getting the broad picture, we’ve got researchers so deep into their minutiae they can’t make a connection outside their own chicken shit studies and their work becomes futile, because there are no broader applications other than very detailed wikipedia entries.
But, in this instance, when you’re trying to get a date on plentyoffish.com, then, yes, please be as specific as you can. Warts and all. No false advertising. Kick that thing off with honesty and those granola broads that only want mountain climbers, kayakers and campers won’t waste your time with inquiries.
Explain to the world what type of nature lover you are. Get the I’m outdoorsy in that I like to get drunk on patios tshirt.
