This one kind of hits close to home. Enjoyment – delayed. Bliss – delayed. Love – cancelled. Pleasure – delayed. Intimacy – delayed. Depression – on time. I could blame fate. Circumstances.
But, really, I’ve given my life over to the Internet, and the little bits of those good things I’ve gleaned from the World Wide Web have taken the place of real human interaction and love, which in turn leads to depression, compounded by the fact that I’ve packed on 35 pounds, because I don’t move from my desk chair. Ever.
