20-Sided Game Die That’s How I Roll T Shirt

by on November 16, 2010

I’m not Jewish but the culture is fascinating to me, especially the amazing amount of comedy that has been generated. There’s this dark, vulnerable, us-against-the-world, embrace life and kick ass type of vibe that I get from Jewish comedians that is irresistible. So, of course, I love this Dreidel That’s How I Roll T Shirt.

Wait, that was kind of a leap that didn’t make that much logical sense. Is that what you think? Well, I don’t care. I appreciate Jews and their toys for children, so I give this shirt high marks. Just kidding I totally know this is a 20-sided die used specifically for when you have a group of 20 people and you have to decide in the most fair way, who should be sacrificed on the alter of Gorzon the god of Love of ritual sacrifice and spackling.

Not to mention that That’s How I Roll is an Internet meme, and this is a terrific variation on that theme. Busted Tees got all clever and shit when they designed this one and I appreciate that.

Of course, I know that you now are burning with curiosity, wondering how to play Dreidel. I probably should have waited a month or so to do this post, but you need to learn how to play, then find a hot Jewish girlfriend or boyfriend, then go to their parents house over the holidays and impress them with your knowledge of the game. And, of course, wear the tee. Not this one. Because it’s not a Dreidel.

NOTE: I’m embarrassed to say that I really did call this a Dreidel the first time I published this post. Then, I called it a 12-sided die because I listened to my readers a little too closely. Come to find out, thanks to two fine gentlemen with sharp eyes, that it is actually a 20-sided die. I should probably just give up on this shirt writing gig after this debacle.

That’s a twelve-sided game die, not a dreidel…

Thanks Char! That’s sort of embarrassing. I wasn’t even trying to look like a dullard for comic effect. That’s just plain negligent. Post has been updated.

Really? Updated? I still see 12 in your title and in the article…

@Nathan – hey, don’t I deserve 20 tries to get this right. This blogging about t-shirts is mentally taxing. JK. Thanks for the heads up.

Ummm… it’s a 20 sided die. I know that from my geeky D&D days, but also because the 18 and 19 are clearly visible.
