Not sure if you’ve heard of this obscure little book series called the Hunger Games, but last week, they also launched the movie based on the series in a couple of theaters across the US. Seems that the opening went pretty well. Anyway, Detour Designables seems to have stumbled on this little franchise and decided that the quality of the story was good enough that they’d do a Hunger Games T Shirt in hopes that maybe something of quality would pick up a little momentum and somehow, against the odds, become as big of a hit as it deserves.
It’s a gamble, but I think it might pay off. Just looking at the box office numbers looks like the interest in the movie wasn’t bad at least for a little nichey type independent little boutique film like that.
