Very silly wordplay mixed with a bit of algebra angst. Man I was terrible at math. Actually, I’m alright adding numbers in my head, but college algebra was mind blowing. Think I scraped by with a C- and that was lucky. Guess I probably would have felt like a kindred spirit writing this letter to math, and probably would have repeated Dear math I’m Not a Therapist Solve Your Own Problems T Shirt during one of those horrible, stressful exams, had such a clever little ditty come to my head in my time in college.
What are your thoughts on math? Do you love it? Is it your favorite or are you more artistic in nature and temperment? As I get older and wiser I have come to appreciate people with all sorts of different skills and personalities…what the hell am I talking about. I feel like I need a therapist to help me stop blithering on about absolutely nothing in the company of complete strangers.
I like the thought of math pleading to help solve this personal problem and the person wearing the shirt just saying look, I have 1 million and 1 problems myself. Solve your own shit. Go to a shrink if you need to, but you can’t lean on other people to help you work out that deep stuff.
Snorg Tees outdid themselves on this witty little wordplay involving math. Complicated I know.
