I feel like this is a strong statement against the destroyers of the US economy, namely corporations, politicians, and Wall Street. It’s US money spelling out Loot, which is quite apropos. They’re printing money, going negative on the interest rate, punishing savers, and rewarding reckless speculators. Not a great way to stabalize and/or grow an economy. Bernanke should have been shown the door along time ago. There should be bankers in jail. We need perp walks or the rule of law in this country becomes a joke, and, naturally, things will become much more unruly.
Funny Political T Shirts
Ah. What a perfect shirt for this silly political season we are in right now. I simply cannot believe what a shambles the United States political system is in. Along with just about everything else. F’d up I tell you. Wait, of course I can believe it. I’ve always harbored the belief that the whole thing was a sham and politicians were available for the highest bidder, but then I got sucked into the spectacular marketing campaign that was Barack Obama’s presidential run, and voted for him. I got a brutal slap in the face thinking there could be change and hope while still working within the system. What a joke.
Well this is pretty funny as we move into the silly political season. I actually think Ron Paul might be the most viable candidate out there. He probably won’t get the nod as the Republican nominee, but he might make some serious noise as an Independent. He’s against the wars. He’s against the fed. He wants to legal the marijuana. He’s violently opposed to all the fascist legislation that’s making its way around the Hill. He has warts, but I think even if he can deliver on 25% of that short list, he’ll be better by far than any President for quite some time. He really seems like he can’t be bought.
So, it all started with fire and the torch, then there was the candle, the gas lamp, electric light. Last year was compact fluorescent. And, this year we’re back at fire. I think what they’re saying here is that it’s all fallin’ apart. The grids gonna crack. The American dream is fading. Beeswax and paraffin are becoming scarce. And, we’re back to lighting shit with fire.
Apparently, President Obama was trying to ratchet up the quality of school lunch programs around the country, but the french fries and frozen food industry shoved way too much payola up the asses of Congress for them to see straight, so they called a teaspoon of tomato paste on pizza a vegetable and shit canned the USDA’s suggestions for improved nutrition for the young people of the United States. Somewhere Jamie Oliver is crying in his salad.
This here is a very fine t-shirt from Uncle Cletus. I have been on my high, political horse lately, trying to make points about things I don’t really understand. Sounding indignant. Warning of impending doom. And encouraging people to fight back against the Oligarchy and growing fascist state. Of course, I’m just sitting here wondering how many of the Commodores were gay, and eating Fritos, which is pretty much my nightly ritual.
What’s Headline Shirts trying to get at with this one. I’m not sure. You have the Statue of Liberty holding a beer in place of the torch and on the book it says “I’m just saying.” Is the shirt a commentary about how low brow American culture has become, and the concepts of liberty and freedom don’t really mean anything to anyone because they just want to booze it up and watch the latest installment of the most reality tv show programming you can think of.

I love this I’m the 1 Percent T Shirt. First, 1% milk blows. It’s a watery mess nobody should have to endure. If you’re going to do milk DO WHOLE MILK. So 1% is already conjuring up negative associations, which is good. Next,this milk carton dude is too dapper to be cool. You know how you can dress well and be okay, but if you go too far, like with a monocle, you’ve officially hit douchebag status. That’s where Mr. Milk is.
Has that guy been reprimanded, fired, suspended yet? Lt. John Pike should not work in law enforcement any more, because he displayed appalling judgment. That’s why this Pepper Spray Cop with Butterflies T Shirt really speaks volumes. It takes the sting out of the oligarchy’s show of force. The tipping point will be when the force turns on the .01 percent. When they finally figure out that their pensions are gone, their quality of life is shit, and there are very specific reasons for it, and most of them involve greed and fraud. Then it’s butterflies instead of pepper spray. Then the officers are sitting with the students, and then the charade we call government and finance crumbles.

I’m thinking this is sort of sacrilegious in many circles. I mean, this was the last dude to stand up to the corporate oligarchy, and look where that got him. But, he did say this to Jackie O when she walked in on him in flagrante. Jackie rolled her eyes. Marilyn giggled. And John F. Kennedy continued with the business at hand. True story.
