Tshirt Groove

For me it’s not just about the funniest tshirt or representing my favorite band or team. No, for me t shirts symbolize a lifestyle. If I have a tshirt on, it’s the weekend and I’m loafing around the house or out riding my bike or walking around downtown, playing basketball with the kids or something fun.

Comfort Zone
My old tee shirts are the most comfortable shirts I own. In fact, I’m partial to a baby blue pocket tee with holes in (it’s just going to disintegrate one of these days, to my wife’s delight) and a really old gray tee with no art, just frayed sleeves, neck and bottom seam (what is the bottom of a tshirt called). I smile every time I put these on—that’s the essence of the t shirt groove.

Express Yourself
Oh, and when it’s time for some hilarity, nothing beats a funny t shirts. And, don’t forget artistic shirts—I think there are some visionary, talented people putting work on cotton threads. Wearable, washable, moveable art is a cool concept.
